Lead Vise with Tab
Stretch your lead came with this quick-release Lead Vise. Convenient size mounts to your work table without getting in the way. Features a strong spring and grooved teeth mechanism to hold lead came securely while stretching.

Instructions:

Lead came must be stretched before use to prevent sagging under the weight of the glass.

Secure the lead vise to the edge of a work surface with ample space to pull the came.

Insert the lead came into the opening of the vise, opposite the clamp.

Press down on the clamp and tap with a rubber mallet or small hammer to secure the came between the jaws.

With pliers, grasp the other end and pull.

Continue pulling until the came becomes rigid and no longer stretches.
